It's been a while since I've used xanga to do anything but keep up with my friends hectic lives... too long to talk about all the things I've experienced in the last year and a half. There's been a ton of great times I will never forget, but unfortunately during this same period I've made the biggest mistakes of my life. At least I have a long time ahead of me to try and learn from my mistakes and improve on my shortcomings. Congrats to all those that have graduated already, it seems like everyone from high school has passed me by and left me in the dust haha... except for Nick. Thank goodness I talked to him the other day and found out he had a year to go as well! In May I went to see my best friends graduate as I promised my freshman year. It was a great finish to a memorable four years at my second school... I really felt as if I went to Columbia as well with all the time I spent there drinking, eating, drinking, playing ball, oh and drinking. Thanks to all the friends I made through James and Charles for taking me in, I feel closer to you than I do to most people at my school! haha. The best part of graduation weekend had to be having Bonnie Lam say "I love you" to me right in front of James and Charles... HAHA it feels great to have your friends mom want you like she does, hurhur. Now is when James would punch me in the arm. The Train Game the first night! Never playing it again with Black Label.. these Columbia kids have an obsession with that drink I swear. It tastes like pine needles! ..if I were to imagine what pine needles would taste like. Jonney represented his country well with this one. *Another picture to come here* Can't seem to find one of the most interesting photos of the entire trip.. only four of us from that first night know about it, but that will soon change hurhur. After senior ball we went to my second favorite place in all of New York (behind Chinatown for dou hua and egg tarts), St. Marks Place for some good food and a lot of alcohol. Contrary to what the photo looks like, James hasn't touched a drop yet and is just being his usual self towards me. I'm returning the favor.
THIS is after the alcohol.
The St. Marks die hards... my AlokaPokka loved it so much she was eating off of the plates of the deserted table next to us haha. Suckaaa
Charles has every reason to smile here, look who he is standing next to..
Typical gheeeyness. Gheeyy is definitely something I would never have thought of if it weren't for meeting Mr. Chung and living in his room above Nussbaum. CAMPFIRE! All in all this trip I realized how lame New York is in terms of only accepting cash at most places. No idea how I didn't figure that out on one of my many previous trips but it screwed me so many times. Another reason that this trip stands out though is because I was spending my time running around the city with someone very special to me, a good friend that has become far more than I could have ever expected :) Nearly everything I do now reminds me of her in some way and it just kills me that we have to be apart for so long right now. Bleh. I can't wait for later this summer if I can make it back home or fall when a new chapter begins. Buckeye football, new seasons of our favorite shows we've gotten each other hooked on, our liquid dope nights, her amazing cooking, playing with puppies, and of course our Chipotle and late night Cane's runs are all ahead of us... Not to mention the long list of trips we have planned. I still have no idea how we're going to prioritize it but it doesn't matter because we're going to get it all done!
I love YOU dork. pokepoke. |
